Hamlet is a small town in southern Leonida, inside the Grassrivers region. Its counterpart is Homestead, Florida: the addresses point to Krome Avenue, the main street of that town at the entrance to the Everglades.For its size the town is mapped in detail — sixty objects, nineteen of them shops and fifteen government buildings. The map marks an LTD gas station, the Rattlers bar, the Te Invito restaurant, Sara's Unisex Salon, a water tower, a sewage treatment plant and several power stations.A prison complex adjoins the town and has a page of its own.
